Preparing for taxes.

I’ll admit I probably have more to file a slightly more complicated tax return than most kids in college. I’ve been receiving a swarm of 1099s from multiple banks and brokerages lately.

I received $188.18 in total interest from various banks (ING Direct, Emigrant Direct, FNBO Direct, etc.). I probably won’t be receiving anymore interest from Emigrant as I no longer keep any funds with them.

I received $975 from Google Adsense. I guess it’s a pretty decent amount considering I don’t focus on monetizing my blog and my entries have been far and few between (I apologize for that).

I made about 8k from my part-time job. Normally I would be receiving no refund but for some reason my parents said they are not claiming me as a dependent on their taxes anymore due to a change in their income structure so I might be able to get a refund this year.

I haven’t recieved my 1099 from Zecco yet but I have from Sharebuilder. What sucks is that they report the total gross amount but didn’t report my net gains/losses for 2007. I’ll have to go through all my transactions to figure out the amount.
