Just a math tip:
0.25/4=0.0625
So, Schwab’s online checking yields about 6.3% more interest, not 0.25%

I think you misinterpreted what I meant.
4% + 0.25% = 4.25%
CS’s 4.25% rate yields 0.25% more than ING EO’s 4.00%
