With the recent rate cuts a lot of bank have been dropping the rates on their accounts. You can still get an effective 5% APY though.

This is a list of the top five highest yielding bank accounts I am aware of. In the future I’m going to try to put out updated lists every now and then.

Currently my emergency fund is stashed with FNBODirect paying 5.05%. Only a couple grand which is not worth moving but I thought the list might be useful for the rate chasers out there or those with $100k+ in cash that want FDIC coverage.
