Yes, we all know I’m a huge fan of Netflix and a current subscriber. So why am I unsubscribing? No, Blockbuster didn’t win me over so keep your pants on.

I recently subscribed to GameFLY because I swore never to buy games again. $60 is just insanely too much for a game that you’ll play for a month and leave on the shelf to gather dust. I also get buyer’s remorse sometimes with games that are just god awful.

Since I’m a serious gamer I decided to join Gamefly, which has a similar model a Netflix but for videogames. The subscription is $22.95 a month for two games at a time. So far I’m having fun with the games but that kills the time I’d otherwise be watching the movies I rent from Netflix. So unfortunately I have to cancel my Netflix subscription.I technically could afford both but I’m not your typical young person who isn’t fiscally responsible.
